Antique Dry Sink ~ Rare with Kitchen Cupboard ~ Late 1800's
Main Photo
Location: Sun City Grand
PRIVATE PARTY - NOT A DEALER.

This type of vintage kitchen cupboard was the predecessor to the Hoosier style kitchen cabinets.

The larger dry sink cupboards with the fifth leg pull-out were made from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s, during the late Victorian era. With their many time saving features, they were used to perform most of the daily kitchen chores. The dry sink area could hold an enamelware pan for washing dishes, while the fifth-leg pull-out work surface was used to prepare meals.

The cupboard is approx. 3' 4-1/2" x 3' 7-1/2" and has one shelf. The dry sink has the original tin and a bin that tilts out and was used to store large bags of flour. It also has the pull-out work surface with 2 drawers, a storage area with a hinged lid, a slanted cutting board beneath a removable lid and 2 bottom doors with storage behind them.

Overall this large kitchen cupboard is approx. 5' 11" tall, 3' 8" wide and 28 inches deep.
